Identify The Plant

Now this plant has had me guessing all Spring....

and now that it flowered I am wondering if anyone can identify what this plant is.

When you need to make 2 gallons of ice-tea....and two gallons of water...your thumb can get pretty painful.

So in need.....the children decided to be creative!
